Autogas Technician

Position Title:- Full time Autogas Technician
or Trainee Autogas Technician
Position salary: - starting at 12000+ bonuses non-qualified
Rising to 17,000 per year + bonuses OTE 30K when fully qualified under
the Gas Power UK Ltd training system.
Physical Restrictions: - Must be able to work in a garage environment
Age Restrictions: - None
Gender Restrictions: - None
Required Experience
 | Experience of dealing with the public. |
 | Experience of working within a managed
team. |
 | Experience in the motor or gas trades. |
 | Knowledge, understanding and
experience of general work shop duties. |
 | Experience of welding, fabrication and
modification work. (if not attained training will be given to the right
candidate) |
 | Experience of wiring and fitting
components (*example fitting a car radio, alarms
etc). |
 | Experience of plumbing in components
(*example fitting a car radiator air conditioning). |
 | Experience of diesel and petrol
engines diagnostic work. (If not attained training will be given to the right
candidate) |
 | Knowledge and understanding of Health
and safety, cosh regulations, and duty of care. |
Required Qualifications
 | Qualified LPGA technician (if not attained
training will be given to the right candidate) |
 | An autogas qualification (if not
attained training will be given to the right candidate) |
 | Expectable grades in Maths and English
(if not attained training will be given to the right candidate) |
 | Motor trade qualification (if not
attained training will be given to the right candidate) |
 | Basic IT skills |

observed, studying, asked questions, writing essays)

 | Adaptability to an ongoing changing working

Desirable Attributes
 | Qualified LPGA technician |
 | Previous motor workshop roles. |
 | Previous
diagnostic roles (able to solve problems). |
 | Qualifications in physics / chemistry |
 | NVQ qualifications to level 3 |
